What's the Giveaway Day 2011? It's a day where many bloggers will be posting pictures of the items they're giving away with a link to the giveaway post! How awesome is that?!!! I couldn't decide what I wanted to give away. Should I offer some fabric or a completed piece? Hmmmmm . . . I'm sure a lot of people will be offering fabric so I decided to offer one of my favorite pieces I completed this year . . .
Would you like to win this Snowman Mini Quilt? It's warm and comforting to help you get through all those cold winter nights. :) Since it's a snowman you can keep it up through January, here in the states anyway. Here's a view of the backing fabric . . .

This mini quilt is approximately 17" x 17". The center redwork is loving hand-stitched. It's machine quilted and the binding's sewn on by hand. I hope you would like to add this to your holiday collection. :)

My favorite way to celebrate Christmas is with a large family meal and someone playing Santa st the tree handing out gifts. Being with family is the best part of the holidays.

I make home-made cinnamon rolls and my husband makes some delicious sausage balls. We eat these special treats with our first cup of morning coffee on Christmas Day and later on with our eggnog.

I love celebrating Christmas with my whole family there. Even if it gets a little tight with us all in one house, it's the best hanging out with my sisters, nieces, nephews, BIL's and parents (with of course my husband and kids). We have a great time together!
At home, tree lights shining, in my pajama's with my honey's (Hubby and 2 furry baby's) by my side :O usually eating left overs.

we celebrate Christmas with breakfast at my house, trying a new recipe each year, this year we are having a Breakfast Frittada, of course that is in addition to the regular stuff---eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy YUM! My children came up in a broken home--I hope I've given them enough memories of Christmas to last a long after I am gone!

My favorite way to celebrate the holidays is to do 24 random acts of kindness instead of a traditional advent calendar. We do one thing to help someone else each day and reward ourselves with a candy each night!

My favorite way to spend Christmas is running to the relatives houses on Christmas Eve. Then on Christmas Day, I spend the day cooking and lounging around with my son, hubby, and any family members that drop in. It's perfect!

I'm a new follower, I saw your Snowman quilt on someday crafts and fell in love with it. Had to come over to your site to read about it.
My favourite traditional Christmas is to open stockings, then breakfast, then main presents, Christmas dinner, then the Queen's speech, quick walk round the block for some fresh air and exercise, back for tea, tele and if anyone is still hungry cold chicken and pickles.
May fav way to celebrate is to open stockings Chrismtas morning with hubby and son, then a nice breakfast together (a very rare event) prepared by hubby.
