Traveling Stash Giveaway!

The giveaway is now closed!  :)

Hello!  :)

I finally got around to taking pictures of the Traveling Stash box I won from Ella @ Throw a Wench in the Works. I'm so sorry that it took me so long! Here's the box . . .

I've included lots of pictures of what I found inside.

These are some decor weight fabrics, seersucker that would be cute for a little boys jumpsuit, and some vinyl coated or laminated fabric (I'm not sure what it's called). The laminated pieces aren't very big but I'm keeping them in as I always wondered what they were like and now that I've seen them I know. Also because they would be perfect for lining some zipped pouches.

These are all larger pieces. Some older, some newer.

Still more larger pieces. Lots of variety.

More fabric in fat quarter size or larger.

Some blocks and a charm pack of "Prayer Flag" by April Cornell for Moda.

These are the misc. items in the box. Some button kits, blanket binding, turning sticks, pins, etc.

Then there are the books and patterns. There is one larger book in great condition. It wasn't my cup of tea but maybe it's yours.

Now here's what I decided to keep for myself . . .

Some fabrics and one apron/pot holder pattern.

This is what I'm adding to the box . . .

A "Santa's Helper" pattern by Cleo and Me, a "Cape Ann" charm pack by Liesl Gibson for Oliver + S for Moda, a charm pack of Vintage Sheets, and some fat quarters of fabrics by Henry Glass, Clothworks and Michael Miller.

Rules:
1. Be an active blogger. Post about receiving the box and the giveaway on your blog in a timely manner.
2. There's a note in the box that logs where the box has been. Please add your info and place the note back in the box.
3. There's a list of Rules and Guidelines in the box. Please read and follow these and return the list to the box.
4. You may take anything you like from the box. Just replace every item with comparable quilt shop quality items equal to the amount taken.
5. Ship the box to the next person in a reasonable amount of time.
6. Due to the amount of postage shipping is only within the USA.

Giveaway:
Please leave a comment on this post telling me how big your fabric stash is. I will leave the comments open until midnight (pacific time) on Monday, May 28th. I will email the winner and post on my blog on Tuesday, May 29th. If you are a no-reply blogger please post your email in your comment or you will be disqualified.

Good luck!  :)

Until next time . . .

All told, my stash is probably about 100 yards but most of that is already slated for projects and put with the project that it is for.

Thanks for a chance to get my mitts on this stash. :D

My stash is bigger than some and a whole lot smaller than others - lol!
I would love to have the traveling stash come for a visit.

Oh, it's embarrassing. I have several storage tubs full...even after a yardsale of selling my $10/yd fabric at $4/yd and profiting over $1500. Let's just say I never made any money when I worked in a quilt shop :-( I have plenty of goodies to add to the traveling stash boxes and even create a few!

My stash is pretty big. I keep adding to it because I never seem to find "just the right fabric" when I'm on a project. I can't even find where to store more fabric lately. Thanks for the opportunity to win more fabric.

My stash isn't very big. For a long time I only picked up fat quarters. I have a couple plastic containers of them. THen some yardage my MIL gave me and of course some that I have been picking up on my own.
Thanks for the chance to win!

My stash is good sized. I have been sewing for a long time. When I got into quilting I gathered ALL my fabric which was in little piles all over the house. I was shocked at how much I had. But there is room for new to me stuff. Thank you for keeping track of all the boxes!

I have a lot of Jelly Rolls and Charm Packs - don't make me count. Always picking them up when on sale as they are a quick 'go to ' source. I have four 32 gallon totes full of scraps (less than a FQ) and one 32 gal. tote of 'strings'. Keep my FQs in clear shoe box style totes by color. Three rolling stackable drawer units that hold scraps larger than FQ but less than a yard. And yardage is currently in a dresser - but a new unit is waiting for them. And ?? number of bolts of staple Kona and muslin in a closet (they will go in the new unit, too). You have a great box I would love to have come visit.

I have no idea how many yards it is, but I would say that I have a medium stash. The size of my stash is really limited by how much space I have in the closet in my apartment.

Now that I have a real job after school, my stash has grown considerably! I have a 3x3 cube shelf full of my fabric and I'm getting some patterns and books too! I can't wait to win this!

Cherise,

If you don't get my email this time I thought I would comment here so you know that I have returned all of your emails and maybe they are going into your spam/junk folder?

I'm excited to get this stash box. :D If you don't get my email this time maybe we can figure out a different way to get my address to you. LOL! Technology is supposed to make life easier! :D
